Anxiety is a future oriented an unpleasant feeling of fear and apprehension.
What is Depression?
We all have moments when we feel unhappy; it’s a normal response to unpleasant events. Depression is the feeling of loss. You feel defeated and discouraged because of something bad that’s already happened. Maybe you feel you failed at work or were rejected by someone you loved.
Changed feelings
You may have noticed a change in the way you are responding or feeling about things. The following points can be indications that it could be depression:
• Persistent sadness, lasting two weeks or more
• Loss of interest in your favorite things
• Finding no fun or enjoyment in life
• Loss of self-confidence
• Feeling guilty, bad, unlikeable, or not good enough
• Feeling empty inside
• Feeling useless or unable to cope with life
• Feeling bored all the time
• Can’t see a future for yourself
• Thinking everything is pointless

What is Anxiety?
Anxiety is a future oriented an unpleasant feeling of fear and apprehension. Normally anxiety can be useful, helping us to avoid dangerous situations, making us alert and giving us the motivation to deal with problems. However, if the feelings become too strong or go on for too long, they can stop us from doing the things we want to, and can make life miserable.

• Sudden unexpected panic spells
• Difficulty concentrating
• Racing thoughts or having your mind jump from one thing to the next
• Feeling worried all the time, tired, irritable
• Fear of cracking up or going crazy
• Sweating not brought on by heat
• Feeling dizzy, lightheaded or off balance
• Fear that something terrible is about to happen
